Summary:
Management of overall operations of the Groveland Warehouse, including Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse Stock.
The Warehouse Manager will be directly responsible for the activities and direction of the Logistics / Warehouse Supervisors and their direct subordinate groups.
Additional management responsibilities include, but are not limited to, oversight of finished materials, raw stock, receiving functions, shipping functions, both US and International.
This position is also accountable for development, monitoring and control of budgets and spending.
Overall personnel function and accountability will report to this position, including responsibility for performance and disciplinary issues.
Inventory accountability and cycle count accuracy are key.
The manager must maintain and deliver customer orders at or above expected metrics.
Also, manage and update applicable policies and procedures.
Job Model:
On-Site On-Site positions will require employees to work on-site for each of their scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities:
Directs the activities warehouse supervisors and their subordinates.
Coordinates the effective utilization of manpower, equipment and materials, maintaining applicable cost and delivery metrics.
Approve and update policies and procedures.
Insure all training is complete and timely.
Direct involvement in continuous improvement processes, focusing on service and productivity.
Oversee personnel issues and bring resolution.
On time performance reviews for all subordinate employees.
Monitor spending to budgets and insure expenditures are prudent and timely.
Insure overall compliance to safety and regulatory requirements.
Employee development and improvements.
Insure communication with all support groups to accomplish necessary priorities and operational objectives.
Complexity of Duties:
Work independently using sound management judgment and accepted procedures.
Able to lead team efforts relative to improvements in process, productivity and efficiency.
Directs exempt and non-exempt employees in activities necessary to achieve tactical and strategic objectives.
Manages overall shipping, receiving and warehousing operations, utilizing strong problem solving and decision making skills, while providing a clear understanding of requirements to individuals the manager would interface with.
Must provide accurate decisions or directions in order to assure productive use of resources while meeting necessary schedules in support of customer schedules and objectives.
Interface and collaborate with multiple cross functional groups both on daily activities and long term objectives.
Works closely with other supervisors and management to make decisions that impact the Groveland Operations and make recommendations to management on a regular basis.
Perform both in an office and warehouse environment.

Experience:

S.
or equivalent experience.
Five plus years demonstrated Warehouse/Shipping management role.

Thorough knowledge of operating policies, practices and procedures.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of regulatory issues relative to shipping preferred.
Trained in process improvement techniques.
Active participation in business management environment.
